Description
A dream slipped in with the dark of night
It woke me in terror and I shook with fright
To a chair I was bound, shackle and chain
Trapped was I, in a world less sane

I sat there writhing, quaking with fear
"Help me someone" but no one did hear
In this place I was locked, dark and alone
Seeking my freedom to travel back home

Those that were there they saw me not
And as time passed by I began to rot
My heart cried out and soul screamed too
My mind said to me "how can this be true?"

To relief and dismay I awoke in the light
The dream was over oh what a sight
I turned and noticed my arms bound in pain
The dream is my life, and truly a bane
