Last year my "friend" Kenny visited a modern day gulag for women in Siberia. He brought with him a few prison girls from some of his Dad's detention complexes. At one point he arranged a contest involving a "weathergirl" and a local slave laborer. Chained together, these two girls' challenge was to move a large pile of gravel, using just two shovels, in fifty-nine minutes. I don't know what the prize was. The prisoners really strained and struggled, they moved the pile in fifty-eight minutes-- or so I heard. Kenny wasn't there to time them. As soon as they started, he was off to the guard's canteen for vodka.
