It's honestly tough to categorize this as it's both traditional and digital art

This is Violette, a panther character that I've actually had for a little while now, but haven't done too much with. A friend wanted a better picture of her for a project he's doing, and I honestly wanted a better picture of her myself because I don't have many I also wanted to get her colors down and just get a nice big image of her design overall.

Although most panthers are considered black, there are panthers that are colored like cougars, and that's kind of what I'm going with here. Honestly, having black fur would make her look too mysterious, and I'm really not going for that. As for her clothing colors, I went with some color suggestions from and altered and played with the colors a little to better suit the character in my mind. I'm not entirely sure if I like the final colors here, but they do seem fitting on her. Time will tell, as I play with her design more and more

The way I set this image up is kind of an effort to show a 'before and after' of my flat coloring, and also so that folks can see how her leg is designed, since it's usually hidden behind her over-sized pants. As this is largely for reference purposes, I wanted to get that down.

Well, I know a lot of you haven't seen her before, so feel free to ask anything you like or give me your opinion of her design. I'm honestly very curious!
