I know there are artists out there who live on scraps and use premium to help boost their ability to save money... This just seems like a way for dA to get as much money as possible and not caring for anyone! (The only good thing I see that came from this is all of dA banding together to stop it XD ). I know that dA may not be to financially stable right now (the money under the arm is just a point) but this still is how a lot of people are feelingPlease join STOP-COREMEMBERSHIPS

Mostly people who are anti-core are core members... It is because we already paid for it and now it is changed without any notice, so for the most part it only affects us and those who wanted to get it. Once my membership has run out though I am not renewing it for a long time. Someone told me they may be bringing premiums back in a few months but unfortunately I think that is just a rumor.

Well, dA has raised the main price of premium memberships by 2x without updating anything and actually providing less feature. The picture means that even though dA is a large corporation making millions annually they are asking those who actually need the money to spend even more than they can probably afford.

Why? If you read any of my replies to questions on why I am on this position on core you would realize that I have a good reason to disagree with Core! Artists not being paid has nothing to do with an increase to premiums and everything to do with the attitude of deviants not wanting to respect their fellow artists and pay them for their work.

I completely agree with that... I have always seen deviants ask for much less than they deserve, but what I am saying here isn't asking deviantant to ask for more for commissions, which of course they should and take into consideration their own time it takes to make art, but what I think a lot of people are pissed about is this: DevianArt removed the bulk price discount for their long-time premiums without warning any of the members first and they didnt add any new features, ( I think I'vee seen that there were a few features removed too, not sure if that is true or not since we still haven't heard anything from staff)... also they had the new "core" logo put in place that... just clashes with the color scheme and is pretty much the exact same as Roblox logo.
I am sure that most people wouldn't be angry with a gradual price raise because for the most part the community is pretty giving (despite the trolls and thieves you'll encounter on occasion) and I have read in a lot of the journals that have been posted that many deviants would have been more than willing to contribute more for the premiums if dA said they needed it, bu no, it was just out of the blue and no announcements from staff.
Still with you on the part that deviants should raise their own prices but This just isnt the issue at the moment =/

That's fine, but I don't think those websites are necessarily for me, since they mainly appeal to furries, and I am not one. No, I don't hate furries, it's just that those websites don't really cater to the kind of art I like.
