Age: Claims she's in her twenties, but is actually 33.
Height/Weight: 5'3" | Asking a woman her age is offensive. Asking a woman both her age and her weight is downright blasphemy! (It's approximately 150lbs. She claims that most of the weight is either muscle or in her boobs...)

Personality:
Introverted and doesn't like people that much. Has grown up to be paranoid and overly cautious due to living near the Viridian Forest. Hardy and sturdy, she won't cry about a knee scrape, thank you very much. Try to belittle her and she will find a way to hurt you without getting caught. Not too girlish and always acted like the man of the house when it was just her and her mom. Topics of conversation to be avoided include body image, femininity, and religion. Mistake her for a medic and she might OD you with shrooms. Just a fair warning to ya.

Backstory:
Born and grown in Viridian City, she used to live with her parents and older brother until the Great War broke out. Since then, she has developed a hefty prejudice against Johto, its allies, and their citizens ("Jays"). She is "overjoyed" to be able to fight some of those sons of guns.

As she grew older, she often ventured into Viridian Forest, despite being scared schistless of the Pokémon inside, so that she could acquire the rare venom and mushrooms the creatures seemed to produce. Although she knows how to use the items, she doesn't know how to use the Pokémon themselves and is wary about her new partner, knowing fully well what "it" could do if provoked.

Some Misc. Notes:
Roxanna's body type is supposed to be cone-shaped, meaning she has broad shoulders, small hips, and a large chest. Hair color is dark brown; eye color is green. Also has thick eyebrows and bad posture.

Pokémon :

Asco | Paras | Hardy Nature | Effect Spore | Male
Asco is slightly apathetic about his partner since she seems to know his space. Until she tries to harvest some mushrooms or spores. Then there's a big problem. He does sense that she dislikes him, although he doesn't know that it is because he is an indigenous Paras from Illex Forest.

His move set has made him more of a support Pokémon to other soldiers than an actual fighter. Both he and his partner oppose this idea since it leaves them less protected and easy targets. The higher ups figured the two could work something out. Let's hope they're right...

He has grown into a punk, stealing candy and sporing whoever stands in his way. Fire is his biggest weakness and phobia. Currently he is as happy as a Clamperl after learning that the benefit of staying small is learning stronger moves faster.

Vespa | Beedrill | Serious Nature | Shed Skin | Female
A seemingly useless mon, the only reason Roxanna chose Vespa is for when she "grows up". Having evolved into a Kakuna under the care of the military, she still knows how to sting and will do so when aggravated. However, that is just the tip of the iceberg. She is patiently waiting until she emerges from her cocoon, and that's when things will become more serious...

A Viridian native, she's closer to home with Roxanna. Maybe when all hell breaks lose, Roxy will be able to control the killer-wasp-to-be. That's what the military is hoping.

Now a deadly bee of poisonous pain, Vespa is the offensive attacker of the team. If the enemy runs away, she will as sure as hell run after them. There is no escape.

She doesn't delight in any of Asco's bug shenanigans. Offer her candy and she will sting you in the face.

Eudie | Roselia | Bashful Nature | Poison Point | Female
A mon out of Roxy's comfort zone, she was chosen due to her foreign pedigree. Shipped straight from Hoenn, Eudie will hopefully expand Roxy's knowledge of poisons after an incident on the battlefield that showed how much Blake was a big fish from a small pond. Eudie also shows potential in healing, at the vary least with status ailments. Although she has Eudie, Roxy still insists she is not a medic.

Eudie, however, is almost too shy to function. Which is too bad since this is war and she is part of the weaponry.

One thing I goofed on was that I originally thought you could find Paras in Viridian Forest. You can't, they're in Johto. :'D So I fixed that part, and if anything it may be possible Paras originally were there but were wiped out by over-predation from mushroom collectors. Sure, let's go with that.

I wanted to try drawing a character that was 1) older, 2) more heavy-set in weight/physique, and 3) neither pretty nor ugly. I tried number 3 with another character before, but she just turned into a bishounen. ;_; But I think I got it, even if she doesn't look short enough to be 5'3". Just wait, though. Once this OCT gets started, I will suddenly lose the ability to properly draw Roxanna, and she will look kawaii desu even though she is supposed to be a grumpy, 33-year-old woman who is slightly overweight and doesn't know how to dress like a girl. :'D

This may have to do with medium, though. I think my styles between traditional and digital line art differ, so hmm...
And oh, look, another character for that "30 characters in 30 days" thing. |D
