She turned her head to see one of the beakers rolling across the counter, its contents sloshing from side to side. As she approached it, she noticed that the gummy bear inside was beginning to glow. She leaned in for a closer look, her curiosity piqued. What in the world was happening to that gummy bear?

Sarah stared at the beaker, her eyes narrowed in confusion. She was certain she had heard a voice, but the beaker was standing upright as if nothing had happened. She blinked a few times, sure that she must have been imagining things. Yet, the feeling that something was off lingered, and she couldn't shake the sensation that the gummy bear was somehow trying to communicate with her.
"You must be losing it, Sarah," she muttered to herself, turning away from the beaker and shaking her head. "Gummy bears don't talk."
