This actually bothers me the most with South Park. They're clearly following the same timeline as the real world, by featuring real current events and mentioning what year it is or was. How come the kids BARELY AGE?!Anyway, I think the last time I've actually been EXCITED for an upcoming movie was WALL-E. Freaking WALL-E. That's like 7 years ago.
The Peanuts movie actually looks like these people know what they're doing. For once. The style, animation and old gags are examples that stand out the most. I'm really looking forward to next weekend.

Well, Family Guy's kind of acceptable since they've broken the fourth wall SEVERAL times, and they kind of show that they're partly there just to entertain. Like they know they're cartoons, and cartoons only. It's hard to explain. South Park just doesn't have that slapstick.
