This was how Rouge looked previously
Well I haven't been contributing to the Mermay month, so I thought I would do it before it is over (it is the 31st May over here) This is an old drawing and design of Rouge, actually it was my first design with her.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Rouge was originally supposed to be a mermaid, in fact the reason for her being in her 30'ies is also because she was previously a mermaid. I wanted her to be a mermaid, but it is hard for a mermaid to fight or even be on land, since they have tails. In One Piece mermaids can split their tails and walk on land once they turn 30, so Rouge was made to be in her 30'ies, so her tail would split and she could walk on land.
However after a quick look at the crew, I noticed that despite Oda having brought so many races and tribes into the series, the majority of my crew were or looked really human. I wanted to mix it up a bit, so I turned Rouge into a fishman instead. In fact right now 4 of the crew members got a race/species change and Rouge was the first one to get it. Though she stayed a koi fish.

Oh ok. Thank you! By the way, I have been watching My Hero Academia(dubbed, because I heard that the dub for that show is pretty good, pluuus there are voice actors in the dub that I really like), and it's AWESOME! Though something I just have to get out of me, I know they're both rather popular, but I SERIOUSLY do not like Bakugou or Monoma. They're just UGGGHH

AAAAAAHHHHHHH I love BNHA!!!! Though I haven't gotten myself to watch the 3rd season yet, because I like to wait for the whole season to be out, so I can binge watch as I am very impatient and will just scream if they end an episode with a cliff hanger.... SO NO SPOILERS!!!
Ahh yeah... I also have a hard time liking Bakugou and Monoma. Monoma is just annoying to me, (though I can see the comedic relief in him) and I know that Bakugou has some good points, but sometimes I just find him tedious

Don't worry, I've only just started watching season 3 so I haven't really watched anything spoiler-y anyway. And eeee yes it's awesome! I applaud the mangaka for making such an incredible series, and for the animation studios for bringing it to life like they did! Who would you say are your favorite characters from amongst the students?

I like Tokoyami... I kinda like his design and dark vibe, also his quirk is really cool and I am kinda seeing it as two siblings that don't get along. (I mean they manifest their quirks around age 4? So he pretty much got raised with Dark Shadow and Dark Shadow can talk so he has a personality as well). Which I kinda find cute. There is the more cool and reserved Tokoyami stuck to his (younger) brother Dark Shadow who can be a loose cannon.
I also like Midoriya. He was quirkless almost his entire life, but never gave up on becoming a hero and studied in order to gain knowledge over strength (despite his current quirk) in order to become one.
and Tsuyu is really cute and I like how she is rather resourceful and just knows how to aid her friends (Midoriya, Mineta and Tokoyami during their test together)
And no not really. My friends can come and squeal to me about a character they like, but I don't, however it is never a character I dislike. Let me try to rephrase. We despise the same characters and love different ones. They can love a character that I find neutral and vice versa, but we've never hated a character the other liked (as far as I know. I don't know if they hate mine, but I've never hated their fave characters)

Huh, that's really cool! I haven't thought of it like that; honestly Dark Shadow to me, since I'm taking into consideration how he's typically wilder in the dark, seems more like some kind of hardly tamed familiar of sorts. You know, like some kind of sentient wild animal. But now that you've said your piece, I have to say my view sounds kind of derogatory, even if inadvertently
Awww I know right? He's like the ultimate underdog, plus extra points for him having a heart of gold He's definitely one of, if not my #1, favorite.
And Tsuyu is definitely another character that I have to agree with you on all accounts why she's so likeable. My friend(the same one who also likes Bakugou and Monoma) loves her to bits. Plus Mina Ashido, who I also like to an extent because she's really full of life and is fun and is generally quite likeable in my eyes.

Naaahhh I think most people see Dark Shadow more as a familiar, I am just seeing it as siblings because the two kinda reminds me of my own relationship to my little sister. Like one is more calm and responsible while the other is rather wild, comes with snarky comments, complains a lot and doesn't like to take orders, but does them anyway.
Perhaps that's why I see it like that?

I can see where you're coming from, but honestly, who can blame him? Bakugou had been breaking down his self-esteem for years, and it seems like every since he was 4, most people didn't really have high expectations of him. And suddenly, he got a completely out of this world golden opportunity that poses a huge responsibility; being the #1 Hero, All Might's, successor. From a personal experience, I know that when something like that happens to you, you feel the need to go way above and beyond. And having to succeed the #1 Hero, his idol, heck Izuku is probably doing what he thinks is needed to be able to one day proudly stand as #1. At least, that's how I see it.

Oh no it's fine, most people would think that the wilder child is also the younger one and it is normally that way in most households anyway
I have three siblings:
sister - 30
brother - 28
me - 20
sister - 17 (soon to be 18)
I am talking about me and my younger sister here, I just wrote them all down to prevent too much confusion in the future in case I accidentally say my sis got a child and then you end up thinking about my younger sis.
well... true... okay I'll give him a bit more credit, but I still like Tokoyami more

It was. My older sister once broke my brother's nose and my younger sis and I would often prevent them from walking by clinging to their legs (we wanted a lift, too lazy to walk ourselves) and sometimes we would snatch our older sis's things.
