Description
The times were a changing. The times they were tough.
So we went rearranging—
Freedom wasn't enough.
So we 'lected new pipers
To give circus and bread
Who appointed new snipers
To progress us ahead.
Thus security's granted
At the price of free will
And all was just perfectly perfect… until—
Though order then lingered
In lands far and remote,
Those damn freedom-thinkers
Just kept rocking the boat.
So round them all up—
Lady Liberty too!
And cram them in trucks
Like old Polacks and Jews.
Thus order's maintained—
And society's reward
Is to have perfect perfection restored.
Insurrections wiped out
By guillotine and gas chamber
Amidst screams and shouts
And bullets unchambered.
As ringleader of
This treasonous lot,
Lady Liberty's captured
Bound, gagged up and shot.
Then Justice and Honor
And lastly Free Will
Till Freedom lay perfect. Perfectly still.
