Description Taken SaturedayΒ at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. A friend and I went there and I was not disappointed. This is Old Rivets the prototype of the GG-1s and the only GG-1 to be riveted together.Β  Old Rivets the oldest GG-1 to exsist her number is 4800.

she is in a sad state. they need to get her inside and out of the elements. They need to stop worrying about the K4, and fix up their other equipment.

She is due to be restored next after the lindenburg engine. Some time next year.Β

I took it Saturday at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. the GG-1 was built in 1935 this is the Prototype engine and the only GG-1 to be riveted.

Mhmm!! It's sad though, I really wish they could be restored, but, they are full of asbestos and would need some power conversion car behind them.

the only big boy in that area is at Steam Town. The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania only deals with PRR equipment.

The one right behind Old rivets is a M1B Mountain and the one in the way back is a K4s.

she is even know is has been retired for 31 years she still looks sleak despite the faded paint and rust.
