It's funny how people think Superman is a "douche", when he behaves almost like a "perfect citizen": being honest, loyal, friendly and caring for other people.

I'm not into the whole "comic thing", but I just wanted to say that this is a really interesting piece.
Good job on it.
Love how you put the larger images of each character in the background using a fade effect.

While I agree with a lot of the people that are saying Superman could kill Batman before the latter even had time to reach for kryptonite, this is a pretty decent piece of art

Love the design, however I disprove of the content. I really dislike when Superman is constantly disregarded due to nothing else but his lack of popularity in comparison to Batman.Β
Being a hardcore comic book fan, it can get very annoying to see Superman put to shame by none other than Batman just because he has has the better success in popular culture.
Again, great design work, amazing art skills, but just a personal gripe.

I kinda like the idea that they're the only people who can truly beat each other. Sure Joker may kill a member of the Bat Family, and Darkseid may hypnotize Supergirl, but Clark and Bruce are the only ones that can truly HURT each other. No one else stands on their level, so no one else can take them down. I guess that's just how I view it.

Fair point, but he didn't stay dead for long. I like to think of them as yin and yang, light and dark, they're the only two that can balance each other. Whenever Supes is in a rage, Bats is usually the first person to show him he's doing the wrong thing. Whenever Batman makes a judgement call he has no right to make, Supes puts him in his place. They're both well aware that they can be destroyed by the other. But they both know it'll never come to that. That's why they're best friends, they know that if they become compromised the other will check them back into reality, or take them down if they can't. It is kinda sad that the Batman and Supes fandoms aren't as in league with each other as the two themselves are. There's very little point to asking who would win in a fight. If it comes to that, then they've both already lost.

yes perfection is boring. and batman is not perfect. but he has plans enabling him to neutralizing every super hero in the DC universe. the hero he him self thinks will give him most trouble is wounder women since superman himself help him to form multiple plans to beat him. batman can still be beaten. you just have to unpredictable like the joker.Β

FYI ... for all the ones going to Batman can do this that and shit.
1. Batman has never ever come close to beating any of the universe changing heroes [Superman, Green Lantern & Flash] in canon. You know ... the series where they can't really go full retard unlike the Elseworlds where the writers can do whatever they want.
2. Batman has had a total 15 vs. with Superman to date [Canon + Elseworld]. Wanna guess how many he won? 2. Wanna guess how? 'Cause those are the 2 times Superman really didn't want to fight back.
3. Alternate Earth Superman defeated Injustice Superman in Injustice. WHY? 'Cause after the scene where Superman takes out an entire army under a second, they realised having Batman defeat might not be so feasible ... 'cause normal gamers or public don't really give a crap as to how awesome Batman fans or Batman himself thinks he is.
4. No 'Superman wanker' says Superman is unbeatable. Far from it. But those who can are guys like Darkseid, Zod, Imperiex ... not Batman.
5. Lot of people read comics. I'm not even from west world and the comicbook culture is growing quite big here and we don't have a distinction of nerds or geeks or whatever.

Thank you. Someone who understands. I love Batman as much as the next guy, but people seriously need to fanboy the fuck down when it comes to Batman vs Superman. Superman is a God among men, and as such has taken on foes many times stronger than he.
Never seen Batman take down anyone other than human criminals and thugs.
