Description This is a self portrait that has been published in The Marble Collection (a high school arts magazine). 


With this portrait, I wanted to express a moment of peace and escape from the stress and anxiety of the outside world, knowing that I would have to return to it eventually (hence the title).

this is a really nice piece. Good expression, and my favorite parts are the background and shoulder. And you are just 16? When i was 16 i was just sketching around in my school books. Well done, keep drawings things!
