Description his eyes blink serpent green

   (how cunning of him,
    to steal my breath
    with daffodil shoots
    and maple leaves,
    then padlock it away
to rot with sickly scales of jade,
    hot, acrid dragon breath,
    and putrefying lime)

and i shiver as his coils crush me tight

Oh my gods. I didn't realize how ironic the title was until I reread the poem and its description. EXCELLENT work, really.

Also, Happy Easter! You've been included in an art appreciation-themed Easter Egg Hunt.

I love the interpretation of the topic! Of all the possible routes I can't say your choice was predictable The lack of end punctuation and capitalization really emphasizes the helplessness of the speaker - like it's all they can do to get the words out. The title is incredibly clever as well, great work!!
