Description
i envy girls that
are the spring,
that twirl in dresses wreathed
in blossoms
and always laugh with bubbling dryad unconcern.
but every day i must recall
that there is beauty in the somber
chill of autumn,
that if the leaves must dance and burst with color
so will i,
and that every golden day will glimmer
twice as brightly in my memory
for being stranded in the midst
of rain.
