Description (Very late) Contest prize for ~vINTAGE-aUGUST of her character that I liked for about five minutes... And then I was like It's kind of tubby. And I drew it forever ago ut I kept having trouble with the shading. I'm so out of practice. Stupid school!!!

But ok! I had a bit of fun with the background thingy. I want to do more like that.

DD Well, I took a reddish color and drew in the areas I wanted shading, then I made little strokes in some areas where I wanted it to look kind of fluffy and I added a backlight thing, then I set the layer mode to multiply.

awww, naww, it aint tubby, the puppy's so cute! <3 i love the one paw where you can see the full pad, and I always love your lineart's fur. so cute, draw more doggies!!! haha

This is very cute.
I'm in love with the eyes o.o so shiny and perfect.
The fur looks amazing.!
The colors all go beautifully together.!
Shading is very nice and not all over the place.

I dunno, I just made quick strokes so it looked like fur

That's because slow strokes always come out wobbly. Haha, for me, anyway!

Same for me too! xD But it also makes me more aware of how i should make the fur, since when im too fast it just gets awful instead x'D
