This is Humboldt Lagoons State Park up north of Eureka California. Apparently, according to the park service, it’s the largest lagoon system in the United States with four big oceanside lagoons. Arrrg me hearties. I don’t know if they’re still doing national talk like a pirate day. Anyways ye can go kayaking or camping, t’whatever yer fancy. There be bears afoul o’ ye, and t’occasional whale or a sea-laron off breaking in the briny. Ye may need to keel haul a park ranger or twa so if ye visit, bring yer maties, for it’s like that the park, see, be closed on account o’ graft and o’ caurse, the grippe. Bury yer treasure and don’t spare a look fer if yer caught by the rangers…
