I'm slightly bored of anime, so just a plain gradient which lets me actually see the icons which slowly spread across it like a plague. They are reasonably tamed currently, but in a few weeks I will have two columns of 'temporary' jpgs, text files, videos, etc. If only my desk was this clean..

Desktop icons consist of: securom7 workaround (a crack for two games I own ;_; ), the WYSIWYG html editing component that wordpress uses (good for making basic html pages!), video on design patterns in Python, batch files, ....
Samurize in the top corner reminds me to uninstall games when the bottom number gets even lower than current, and the other ones remind me when it's time to delete stuff (burning files off is evil kleptomania, as you never use them again).
