Well, this image was originally from the game homeworld2, but, as you see, it's not exactly very recognisable anymore. I put it through a few filters after a bit of light brushing, the last of which was a dark strokes followed by a chalk and charcoal. The end result is something which I'd guess isn't even recognisable as a huge spaceship.

The name Tanis is the name of the base you see on the left, which is where you start out at the beginning of homeworld2. Your mothership is the thing that's exiting it (it could be hard to see, but it's exiting from the heart of Tanis). Anyway, I made quite a few of these images and others while listening to Space Cadet by Kyuss (ahhh, where would we be without stoner rock bands). It's a strange song, not least because the idea you get of space from it isn't one of endless black, but of endless....... well, I hope this wallpaper conveys that feeling.

I've rambled enough now, and my fingers are tired, so enjoy
