Love this big guy!

Although it makes me sad to watch Lobo get his butt whooped by the other horses, but I guess that's their pecking order. Poor guy, forced to hang out with the mules in the neighboring field.

Lobo's wearing his flymask because it helps block out the sunlight that reflects off the snow. He has a tough time during winter and summer because he has pink skin around his eyes and nose, which is easily burned. His poor eyelids are so cracked and tender from the sunlight reflecting off the snow.

I took him out for a ride today in the fresh snow, and he was feeling a little frisky and decided to take off up a hill and across a flat! But it was fun anyways! No one had ridden their fourwheelers in the area of the clay hills we were in, so we got to kick up some fresh powder and we had a blast. First time I've had him out since the snow really started to hit our area of Utah.

Anyways.. Just felt I'd upload it, even if it's not really 'art'. Good reference for horse posture, I suppose?
