The musical "Tanz der Vampire" is (c) Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, Michael Kunze and Jim Steinman. Please feel free to correct me if something is wrong or missing.I hope people suffering from bipolarity can forgive me this joke. I wouldn't be surprised if musical!Count Krolock has really a tendency to this illness...
I'm putting into question that Alfred and the prof didn't hear Krolock's lament when they came to the castle (the count was singing in front of the door...). But then, it would fit into musical-logic - the same logic that makes it possible for everyone to break into perfect singing and dancing anytime.
Thank you for all the positive feedback I received so far for my little musical parodies - I definitely didn't expect this when I started with them.
For the time being this will be the end of my musical cartoons, though. At the moment there are no fresh ideas and inspiration in my mind, while other fanart-ideas are knocking on the door and tickle me.
That doesn't mean I'll never ever draw musical stuff again. If the I-have-to-draw-that flash hits me again, there will be more.

*lol* Genau was ich dachte! Der Graf weiß irgendwie nie was er will *lol* Wobei ich sowieso denke dass er und Alfred heißer zusammen sind als er und Sarah *lol* Toll dass du die deutschen Texte übersetzt und nicht die komischen Broadway Texte nimmst

Mag da etwa zuuuufällig jemand Slash?
Ich deute es in etwa so, dass der Graf prinzipiell schon unglücklich mit dem Vampirleben ist, und anderen nur was vorspielt wenn er sagt es sei super. Weil es ihm in seinem trüben Dasein zumindest noch den gewissen Prickel gibt, andere auch in's Unglück zu ziehen - buuh.

Ja, da hast du wohl recht... der Graf im Film ist weniger depressiv als der Musical-Krolock, hat aber auch eine gewisse Traurigkeit. Ich steh einfach auf das Musical und den Film, das hat meinen Vampir-Fandom wieder richtig angeheizt, nachdem ich mich wegen Twilight eigentlich davon abgewandt hatte ^^*

Und ich schätze den Film auch sehr; (inklusive Film!Herbert)(Musicalmäßig kenn ich persönlich bisher eigentlich erst einen Herbert, den ich gut fand - den ersten) schade dass er seit dem Erfolg des Musicals etwas von diesem aus dem Rampenlicht "gedrängelt" wurde (imho). Aber der Streifen bleibt natürlich ein klassischer Klassiker.

I really like this pic: the Count and Alfred's expressions are both cute and funny at the same time. One thing though, the right hand looks a bit odd (the thumb's supposed to be on the other side of the hand). Other than that, I adore this pic as well as all the other musical cartoons you've made.
It's a pity that you're going to stop drawing them though... Perhaps maybe I could give you a few ideas?

(Do you mean Krolock's right hand from our or from his view? I tried to draw the thumbs on the right places, but I guess this thumb is not looking thumb-ish enough then. 
New musical cartoons ... hmmm. I'm also very touched that you offer to give me new ideas, sniff. If you really want to and if you really have an idea (you don't need to go into big brainstorming sessions for me!!) you can surely write me something, but I don't think I'll draw new comics before 2011. Especially not about TdV, though I still like it I feel kinda "saturated" when it comes to fanarts. However, if I should draw an idea of yours I would credit you, of course!
