I find a few details make them both mildly more realistic, and increase character expression. Audino can grab things more dexteriously with claws, and Houndoom's mood can be more subtly conveyed with ears.

That, and the more realistic proportions for the Simpsons characters as well. It's my personal taste on the matter, my little twist on drawing them ^_^
