My first tutorial!I remember doing a poll a long time ago and many people chose the option "coloring hair" for a tutorial.
Or at least I...think...so. I can't really remember OTL;;;
Anyways, I hope nothing is too confusing! Feel free to ask questions!
When I break it down, my hair coloring style isn't all that complicated, hahaha. xD
Also, this isn't really a tutorial on how to shade hair. It's more how I add effects. I don't really understand the way light hits stuff either, LOL. So I couldn't explain that even if I tried.
I hope it's not too wordy and there are no typos. Point them out for me if there is though. I was too lazy to type everything in word first.
OH, and if you do happen to use this tutorial, please show me the finished pictures! I really want to see!!! ;///7///;

ahh i used the program Paint too SAI to draw the picture. And I used photoshop 7 to put together the actual tutorial and write text and stuff xD

very nice! I find the "paint the shading" step a bit confusing though, do you use the water tool to dilute the shading in that step?

if you're still interested --- yes, I did use the water tool but not to DILUTE THE SHADING, but I made a new layer, clipped it to the hair shading layer and painted with the water tool different colors on it. Β
