So sorry for my absence!! gahThis only half decent picture I drew after ten thousand trillion other sketches!
I just HAD to get this down on paper, cuz I'm playing KHII for the second time and it made me burning to draw Sora! (and of course Roxas...) Since I came to the TLK world, I've been wondering what it would be like to have a lion drive form? I know he needs the outfit and such to become a certain form, but what if he reached such a level where he doesn't need the outfit? So I present to you: Valor Sora Lion. And of course he becomes adult to be stronger and able to fight with his claws like Simba does (which would be the substitute for a 2nd keyblade, since lions can't hold keyblades with paws, haha) I tried to keep the colors "lion like" and natural, cuz I think bright colors are cute and all (very pretty) but in the long run I get tired of bright colors on a char, that's why I try to stay in the "natural" range.Roughly colored cuz of serious lack of time ^_^

Just letting you know, the way you wrote the "ra" katakana could be easily confused for the "te" katakana. The "swoop" from the bottom half is one stroke.
Aside from that, I really love this design of Sora's form! You really were able to draw from both the Nomura drawing style and the Lion King drawing style! ^-^

Dude... This pic is so amazing... I hope they make Pride Lands Sora look like this in the next game... I hope they also give Sora his Drive Forms when he's in the Pride Lands... & all the other worlds that we were unable to use Drive on, too... Man, I hope they make outfits to go with every world... I hope that Sora is really the "One True King of Kingdom Hearts"... I hope they make a game with all the worlds from all the games... I hope that we get to use all the keyblades from the games... Wow, I hope for a lot of crud!

Making Sora into an adult when he get into one of his Drive froms it very neat.
By the way, doesn't his clothes have a role to play in his transformations ?
Because, his appearance already changed in Halloween town in the first one, yet he didn't have the clothing and the ability to merge with his friends. And in KH2 he got basically the same clothes in Halloween town and he is able to merge with them. So to me he always keeps his clothes, they are just magically transformed.

Yup, it is free hand, with a ball point pen. I scanned the image (when my scanner still worked ;_; ...) and then I colored it in Adobe Photoshop

the idea is that the drive forms are stronger than normal form, so I thought, since adult lions are massively strong, maybe I should make him an adult lion? I know it does not make age-wise much sense, since Sora is still only a boy, but it would look so cool if he would be a strong adult lion (if it were to happen in the game). That is my reason for doing it that way
