Description
I figured it was high time I showed off my Mane Six headcanons. I’ll post individual ones as well as an accurate body and height chart later, however I love OrphicSwanart ‘s base and decided to use it as a sort of general way to show them off.

1.) Twilight Sparkle
- In terms of design I mostly just lightened up her color palette because that pink in her mane was obnoxiously saturated imo. She’s a pretty pastel pony princess because I say so-
- In terms of actual headcanon, Twi gets small fangs, tufted ears, and good old bat pony thumbs when she gains her wings from her bat pony grandfather Nacht Licht- Aka Night Light Senior
- Twilight inherited her parent’s dorky style and love of scrunchies

2.) Fluttershy
- Fluttershy is half Peryton, half pegasus, however her dna changed after the Bats incident and so she has features to reflect that
- Arguably my favorite design

3.) Applejack
- AJ is SMOL, she is half draft horse yes, but takes after her mother’s side of the family tree, which is made up of Guoxia ponies- a small breed of workhorses. (Her parents are not Bright and Pear in my universe)
- AJ is the next smallest of the mane 6, with Rainbow being the only one smaller than her
- Do not be fooled however, she will still wreck your shit.

4.) Rarity
- Rarity is a mulicorn, her mother Bluebelle is a donkey, her father Chief is a unicorn. Rarity may someday struggle with fertility issues but thanks to certain magical treatments it is manageable
- As a child Rarity ws heavily effected by the stigma around donkeys and mules in pony society and decided to completely give them the symbolic middle finger of becoming the most gorgeous and sought after designer in Equestria

5.) Rainbow Dash
- The Smollest, the fastest
- Rainbow is dyslexic, has autism, ADHD, and needs reading glasses- all things her parents ignored in favor of believing her to be their perfect miracle child. Because of this she suffered and eventually went to live with her grandparents. Split between the two pairs every 6 months, but her life was better for it
- She grew to love her egghead reading glasses, as well as reading itself, but does still prefer comics and graphic novels as they give her less of a headache and she LOVES the action

6.) Pinkie Pie
- The second biggest after Alicorn Twilight, formerly the biggest, despite her grandma being a pegasus. Those Clydesdale genes be s t r o n g
- Descended from some of the few darker coated crystal ponies who escaped the empire post Mania Pragma/ Queen Chrysalis’s birth.
- I mostly just desaturated her colors to something more natural that suited her family’s designs as well in my headcanon.
