Description
A greyscale painting I finished a few days ago and only now uploaded.I have to be honest here; I really like this one, especially the shading. It started out as nothing more than a little experiment with the brushes in Paint Tool Sai (an amazing little program, and it's free and stuff - google it) and ended up taking a completely different form. The initial concept I made was of the flames in the background, and was originally intending to have nothing more than some random silhouette posing stylishly in the center of the picture, but I was nowhere near satisfied with how it was turning out, so I changed it so this.
Despite its appearance, it doesn't actually have any sort of deeper meaning, however I did slightly ponder some of the philosophical aspects of this piece in the midst of painting the front layer of decaying skyscrapers. Oh well, I've finally uploaded it anyways.
Also, for those who are curious I've included a link to the original "super-omega-shitty-original-prototype-design" version of this picture right here: [link]

Thanks. I actually didn't think of it looking like charcoal even once during the painting process, but now that you mention it that seems to make sense.
