I know this doesn't seem very different from the stuff I used to submit before I didn't have a computer but I assure it is. This is an assignment for my intro to graphics class. This assignment taught us how to use the different selection tools in Photoshop CS4. Yah. Freekin CS4. Awesome right? I added a BG of sorts and some other flourishes cuz I couldn't bring myself to leave it as a plain figure. The assignment didn't include detailing either. The point of it was to learn the selection tools. That's it.

So yah. I've never colored line work in Photoshop this way and let me tell you it is waaaay easier than the way I've done it before.

And BTW, THIS IS NOT MY CHARACTER AND I DID NOT DRAW THIS. I ONLY COLORED IT!!! This character is the lovely Garnet owned and drawn by and here is the original line work. [link]
