I saw this as Richtofen being consumed by the effects of the 115 as he himself is turning or is already half zombie. So as he is about to kiss?/do something to this girl, she ( being so close to the element ) feels herself to somewhat sink into the effects of the 115 as well. I'll just throw in the fact that she is probably the last human on this planet. So it's kind of like the feeling of doom.
