Description
The sky outside was grey, small snowflakes floated down gently.
Inside, a girl was sitting in the windowframe, staring at the wintery weather.

She lit a fifth cigarette, wiping her moist eyes now and then. Her right eye brown and her left a dazzling blue. For once, she had left her kimono in the closet and wore a plain black shirt and jeans. She sniffled and then sighed out smoke.
She wore earphones which blasted out music that was supposed to make her feel better, yet instead, they failed to stop her tears.

She didn't notice the other female walk in.
"Soul.."
Soul did not move and continued to stare at the snow.
The other woman walked towards her and nudged her shoulders. This time, she did take off her earphones, but did not turn her head.
"What d'you want?"
"You're being insecure again."
Soul snorted sarcastically, holding back a cryish sniff. "And the Santa weighs 100 pounds."
"... Yeah, bad joke."
"Just get out, Fuu."
The blonde shook her head. "Being insecure over such things.."
"You call friends things?"
Again she sighed. "Aren't they things to you?"
The girl by the window took the cigarette out of her mouth and dumped it in her can of beer. "No, not really.."
Fuu patted the girl's head. Unlike her normal behaviour, Soul just let her, never showing her wet cheeks.

"Things like this... You worry about them too much..."
She smiled a sad smile and hugged the girl by the window.
The tears, even if just for a second, stopped flowing.
