Firstly... a landscape shot from me?!!? I must have forgotten to turn my camera around...This is a new subject - Gamin, the MASSIVE male Amur Tiger from Marwell Wildlife. You've not seen that much of him because he's damn hard to photograph!
For , who not only was there, but demanded I add today

Agreed, and she seems not too friendly right now- the other week she was throwing herself against the glass window at the people stood behind it, which would have made for some pretty good photos! But hopefully I'll manage to get a good shot of her soon

Haha yes.. she likes doing that. Unfortunately it smears the glass up, which makes it really hard to get photos and means one of us has to go in and clean it...

No they're pretty nice but I haven't seen much of the tigers in Krefeld yet (all three times I was there) and in cologne, I would have needed a 600/800mm lens and a more stable tripod because I saw the adult tigers only staying more at the back of the enclosure where I can't get close enough except when jumping into the enclosure but that will end a bit too close xD
