Here is the preview render of the Species 8472 Neotenic Warrior.

Neotenics appear once a Species8472 colony grows large, and specially when conflicts are inevitable. They look similar, yet much smaller, to the Royal Warrior (or "Fathership") and their role is to be supplementary reproductives, however Warrior Neotenics are very rare bioships compared to their Worker Caste counterparts. In most Colonies this bioship is only grown to be a companion to a Worker Ergatoid for satellite nests, far away from the Royals.

There are cases of Neotenic Warriors taking the role of command bioships, but the most common scenario is to see them protecting Worker Ergatoids.

So, like Worker Neotenics, the ones for the warrior caste hatch from specially prepared larvae by the Mothership in a process similar to parthenogenesis, so any larvae hatched by the Ergatoid this Neotenic goes with are siblings of any bioships hatched directly from the Mothership.
