Hey everyone, Pockii here.
It's partially our fault for not making this more clear. But here are some rules regarding the permissions of giving away your free MYO Chimereon.
Β You cannot gift/trade your MYO if it has not been approved for a month or 30 days. This is just to ensure that people don't create a MYO Chimereon just for the sake of giving it away to someone or trading it right off the bat.
If you didn't pay for commissions for your MYO, you can only trade or gift them. This means you can trade them for other characters or art, or you can simply give them away for free.
You are NOT allowed to sell your MYO for points/money unless you actually paid for art of them.
You are only allowed to sell your MYO for what you paid for them. Art that you drew yourself doesn't count, unfortunately.
If your MYO hasn't been approved and you no longer want it, you can give the design away for free or trade it to someone who HAS NOT used their free MYO slot. The person who it's given to still has to draw the prompt themselves and go through the approval process like everyone else. (This applies to MYOs from the free event before the species closed in December 2018).
If you sold your MYO with no monetary value or for a higher price than it is worth, and don't refund the person you sold it to after we ask, you will be put on our blacklist and banned from the group. You will only be given one warning.
If you bought a MYO with no monetary value or for a higher price than it is worth, and didn't get refunded/ask for a refund, you will possibly be asked to change the species of the MYO to a non-Chimereon. If you don't do this like we ask, the Chimereon design will be blacklisted and you will be unable to use it. If you do get refunded, you can keep the Chimereon since you will then receive it for free (if the original owner does not get it back).
I hope this clears some things up! It's been becoming a reoccurring problem so we're hoping that this will halt the issue. We appreciate your cooperation in advance.

You can trade a Chimereon for anything you like, but if you trade for a voucher/resell them you are not allowed to go over the Chimereon's monetary worth.
And if you want to update a Chimereon's masterlist entry, just comment on it saying who the new owner is!

I've been really interested in Chimereons for a while, and even made a DA account, but I'm having trouble figuring this out (I'm sorry if I'm just being stupid :'] ). So, you get one free MYO Chimereon?? You don't have to buy one or anything? Because I've been desperately searching for something saying this, and this was the closest thing I could find saying that you got one free. (Again, sorry if I'm just being stupid/ignorant.)

The Free MYO event has long been closed so the only way to receive a free MYO chimereon is by joining any of our events or the monthly "First Time Owner" raffle.Β
Unfortunately, you must wait until your account is 5 months old, as per our TOS rules you must have an account 5 months or older to participate in any event/raffle/purchases of chimereons.Β

i have a question! if i wanted to trade my chimereon, and the cham already on the masterlist, how would i go about getting the owner changed on there? since i theoretically traded them that would have to be updated right?

If you traded them you go to the masterlist entry, leave a comment on the entry, @ the person the chimereon got traded to in said comment and ask them to confirm. Once they confirm you are done. c: The master list will record it if everything it good then the ownership will be updated.

question- what if an admin asks someone to not use a cham, like if they dont have an myo slot, but they continue to use it anyway, even if it's blacklisted and theyre banned from the group?

I mean there's not much we can do about that, we can't control people and what they do if they're blacklisted.Β If they're blacklisted, they aren't allowed to participate in the group or the species, and neither is the blacklisted cham.Β We can't do much besides banning someone and putting them on the public blacklist.

People who end up on the blacklist generally aren't very nice about it lol.
And no, please don't do that.Β If you don't have an MYO slot, you can't post a design.Β You will have to take it down til you get a slot.

a Chimereon absolutely has to be on the masterlist if you want to trade it. so if it isn't on the masterlist, you can't trade it at all. you'd need to find some sort of proof that your Chimereon was approved.

What do I do if I want to redesign my MYO??? I don't like their colors+personality anymore, but I like the breed they are.

Since you've submitted the prompt and it's been accepted, you are only able to make minor changes to your MYO.
You can always change the personality, but things like horn/eye color have to stay the same and any other colors
present on the body can be slightly lightened or darkened. You could also change some markings around but you
would have to run the redesign by the group to make sure the changes are acceptable.Β
You are always free to add colors but cannot cover a current color on the chimereon. It has to resemble it's prior design
for the sake of being able to easily keep track of chimereons.Β
At some point we hope to give the option for complete redesigns but at this time we cannot allow dramatic changes to be made.Β

May I ask why is it the fault of the person who wrongfully purchases an MYO since they basically got scammed? ;~; like, it isn't thw buyer's fault they got lied to right?

No, it is not your fault if you get lied to, but it IS on you to thoroughly fact-check any trades/sales BEFORE you go through with them.Β That means reading the ToS, asking for a masterlist entry of the chimereon, making sure they are actually worth the amount you're being asked to pay, etc.Β We cannot closely examine every single trade/sale that goes on and we cannot be held responsible for anyone's failure to check to make sure a trade/sale is authentic, or any subsequent bad decision-making.Β You need to use your own critical thinking and discretion when it comes to trading for or buying a chimereon.
