Description
The Achernar system was always a remote and quite place, its name comes from the Bazik word for "End of the River". The name has many negative connotations and very little to provide, the only habitable planet Bai'da 5 is very resource poor and thus has been sparsely populated, mostly by old and retiring people. Naturally being the biggest corporation in its expertise of medicine and service industry Azimuth Corportation had very little opposition in winning most of the contracts on the planets surfaces taking care of the elderly demographic of the planet.

It all changed when rare minerals were discovered on the surface of its moon "Rigel-4201B" and in abundance, this caused Azimuth to rush for the resources before any claims were made, much to the chagrin of the local inhabitants, who were quickly abandoned and got the absolute worst end of the deal. Eventually all the planets service industry based economy was quickly turned into a mining operation, resorts into mass drivers, and parks into processing plants. The populace cast on the wayside, it didn't take long before they were in open revolt.

An aging populace though were clearly no match for AZPHAR who were deployed to contain the situation, disenchanted with the Bazik government's inaction caused the populace to seek other alternatives, namely KASPAROV CIA. Soon enough major combat operations commenced, Rigel quickly turned into an intense point of conflict, mercenaries, pirates, other rival corporations and even nation states also joined in for the piece of the pie, not even Bai'da was spared as it turned into a much colder conflict zone with espionage and sabotage running rampant.
