oh wow this is wonderful, so many awesome little details!
Please don't be offended at the incoming rapid fire fave-spam of all your inktobers I've missed out on seeing until today, I assure you I'll be going back to each one and giving it the time it deserves to check out all the hard work you put into them!

I wonder if you watched the same Saturday morning art show I did.
There was a guy with a mustache dressed in blue mechanic style coveralls as I remember.
He used to draw stuff like this.

Hmmm... I don’t think so.... but I do feel like this is an older style of illustration....
the only art show I ever watched was one where a guy told a story as he illustrated it using toned paper and black and white conte .....

Ah yes, I remember him too, and Captain Bob drew animals, I woke up early to watch him.

Nope not him

this is the guy,
but I think the show I watched had a lot more live drawing and the stories were more fair tale-ish

Yep, I remember that guy, maybe you misunderstood my answer.
I think there was an older guy with white hair who did something similar.
Oh, the memories. This is Captain Bob -

Ha, I found the other guy - www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkN9Zb…
I think we had one of each sets. The "big" one was color, probably 20" across XD

So much complicated structures (I love all the tiny little details in this city/town); fantastic job (have you ever considered a career in architect?)

Thanks ...I’ve never done the inktober thing........ it really pulls you in weird directions.... I never know what I will end up doing the next day..... tomorrow is husky..... ???? A husky voice? A chubby boy? A dog?
I guess I better start thinking......
one day...in the future, the word will be pattern............ I feel like I got that one, but somehow it is also a lot of pressure.
And, thanks for the birthday greetings
I have not been around lately.... so I am not quite back in the swing of things..... my responses are even slower than usual.

No problem chobek.. I should think you need a break now and then .. good luck with “husky”; no idea what I’d draw for that..

Ok Husky went weird ... the drawing I posted I’d a pretty normal pen drawing of a dog .... but before I settled on that I had this weird idea of drawing a barrel chested strongman from the 30s or 40s..... so ...... there were a few twists and turns and this is what I ended up drawing ...... it’s not finished .... but even for me it went a weird direction..... sta.sh/01io7ozispi5
LOL I think my inktober folder will be a strange one once it is full

Never tried inktober but I know kinktober can get me drawing weird things!

I was thinking of doing that instead.... but the prompts with inktober were a little more ambiguous....I’m pretty bad at illustrating specific things...... I am better at running with vague ideas and pivoting when things go wrong......... besides, with some of the kinktober prompts I may/would have run into places where I would have been holding back if I wanted to post here on DA and that irritates me.... I am not usually super explicit, but I like tactile things, function... and equipment so I can’t imagine staying safe.....
that said a few of the words really grab me....permanent, quicksand,squeezed,stretched.....
Mistake .... it’s a nice list

That’s good to know I’ve been away visiting ancient trees, including one thought to be thousands of years old. Thought of your work many times !
