I made some dog/small wolf adoptables, here are the rules:1. You only get one (1)
2. They are free
3. You are allowed to change one feature of one if you want it
e.g You: can number 3 have purple eyes, and then can I have him
me: Yes
4. You must draw him/her at least twice (2 times) and that can't just be draw it one day, draw it the next, never draw it again, it gets forgotten
5. If you want one this is how it goes:

The tails are okay, but don't forget that the bones of the tail are actually quite thin, so anything out of a narrow line is fur.
As for the forearm sticking out, I want you to look at your own arm. Can you flex your arm down holding in right in front of you? Not unless you break you elbow.
Oh, and why is 3 the only one not smiling? He looks so sad. D:

(-by twist, I mean turn so that if a circle drawn around the circumference of the arm would turn around its center.)
For a temporary fix, yes. The pawpad would face in.
Actually, dog legs have much less free range of motion when they stand, as their legs are below themselves while human arms are placed on the sides of the body and have little in the way of free rotation.
While their lower arm can twist a fair amount, the upper arm can't twist too much in its socket because the arm would be displaced from its shoulder.
I'm not really sure how to explain the bone structure, but here: [link] is a good image of the leg bone structure and should help you.
Also, the ribcage is a mite skinny. You may be confusing it with a cats' ribcage, which is smaller and less boxy.
