Matured old trees,sleep at winter's healm.
beauty awaits
within it's realm.
snow clouds it's sight.
obscures the view.
it lingers for spring
to refresh it anew.
brittle winds come
and rip and tear.
through it all
it seems to bear.
the branches hold and
the roots stayed fast.
it seems as if
they're meant to last.
spring appears
there's finally sun
the tree itself
fought tough times and won.
in full bloom,
'tis a sight to see
'specially when it symbolizes
the friendships of you and me.
