so i've had a couple sketches of midas sitting around on my laptop but never finished them. now, since i wanna include him in kasimirs story, i thought a simple ref would be appropriate. midas is supposed to be a maned wolf as my oc, so this anatomy is not correct, it's just for the design purpose. as an apoc, he'd be a regular wolf.
his cape can be on or off, but should be on most of the time. he can be displayed with a hovering crown or sword.

together with Kasimir the alchemist and Devin the scholar, midas is working on a potion for eternal life and youth, as well as looking for a way to permanently turn all kinds of metals into gold. furthermore, he's very interested in astronomy and thinks the stars and planets can influence the ending of the world

since he fears oblivion, midas keeps spreading rumors and stories about himself so people keep talking about him. he used to be a king and is used to not only his title, but also living in luxury and often bosses others around. he's very conservative, greedy and egoistic, so when the going gets rough, he only focuses on himself. midas also often thinks he's better than everyone else, so it's quite difficult to become friends with him, but it's good to have midas on one's side since he's very wealthy, influential and despite his age, his abilities render him more powerful than most. still, he's not very loyal and uses others for his purposes, so no one should expect midas to cover their back at all times.

he's already getting quite old and is getting confused at times, which can make him furious without a reason.

Ability 1: Golden Touch - He can temporarily encase his opponent with gold by touching or biting them. The area where he touches his opponent will slowly develop a layer of gold around it like a cast. When the area is fully encapsulated, the gold spreads to cover the rest of the opponent. It takes about thirty minutes for the opponent to completely be imbolized. The effect only lasts for an hour after the gold has set in before it begins to crack off like plaster though, and the ability will be unable to be reused on the same person until a day has passed since he last touched them. The ability can also be used on inanimate/non-living objects. The effects last for the same amount of time; however, there is no cool-down and can be reapplied by just touching the object again.

Ability 2: Can summon a levitating crown that changes into a sword when in a fight
