These are some color variation sketches for an upcoming illustration.I tend to paint these before I start a more elaborate painting.

I like all of these! Each one depicts different moods and changing seasons.

Damn these are all amazing! My favourite is... (ugh that's hard)... I'm gonnna say D!
Mainly because it feels like the most possible outcomes could come out of this painting. There could be an evil witch living there, a good witch, goblins, elves, anything! It's both mysterious and welcoming, but also ever so slightly scary and dangerous-looking, because of the fog and shady places. So I think this is the most intriguing piece of them all.
But like I said, they're all great! I also really like A, because it's scary, and B / F because it's cute, and D because it's swampy and mysterious just like E.
Hope that helps, even though I don't reallly have any cristisism, which is usually the most helpful...

That's a very interesting exercise. I like D the best, but A is also really cool.

A is the one I'd want to go into the most. I'd however stay as far away as I could from C. Despite that I find B being the most beautiful one, and the one my eyes keep getting stuck on.

I would say I like A best, looks like a peaceful night and coziness inside the house.

Personally I love D! Love the dappled light and the rays hitting the roof tops

Oooh, I like all of these! But my favourites have to be A, D and E, because of the lighting. It's just done so well in those versions, and they have a reall nice feel to them ^^

I love A, B, and D the most!
A looks so inviting and cozy, snuggled in the woods at night with the glow of light in the darkness.
B has that nice look of twilight dusk when, for whatever reason, things tend to seem more magical and surreal (night has that effect, too)
D is very pretty and tranquil. I love the rays of light peeking in through the trees. You can almost hear the chorus of birds.

My favorites are the bottom left and the first one. It's hard to choose. I like the daybreak seeping through the trees, but also very much enjoy the night contrasting with the warm light seen in the windows.
