My first Lobo. I'll admit that I dont know much about him, but hes got a design that I like. The kind that works for my style I think. I also had the pleasure of doing this for the artistic beast known as Matteo Scalera. It was a pleasure, Teo. I hope you enjoy it.Prismacolor cool and warm greys with white paint on vellum bristol board.

I like the blocky, jagged outlines of his muscles. Gives an impression of tension without lots of extraneous details.

my mind can not comprehend how you are doing this with markers...I am not able to get that much detail with marker.

I can't either. A good amount of the work here is the paints on top of the marker.

Technically, it is a painting. I do so much with the paint on these that it's practically 50/50 marker/paints.

I was surprised by some of the effects and wondered if they really were all in markers. Anyway, it's a beautiful technique and the results are definitely showing!

Huh - you know, until I really looked at this artwork I hadn't realized just how many similar design elements there are between Lobo and the Comedian from _Watchmen_!
