Description
DIRECTIONS:∆ create a list with ten of your original characters;
- if you have less than ten, either duplicate some (giving them two numbers or more);
-- or you can borrow a friend's OCs (ask for permission first), or use canon characters.
- if you have more than 10 characters, just create more lists, until the number matches.
∆ once you have created the list(s), shuffle the order up by using an online randomizer.
∆ when all OCs has gotten a number, replace the number in the sentences below with their name.
∆ now you can answer all 130 questions, using your characters and getting to know them better.
∆ if you want to post your answers online, for others to read, go ahead; no need to credit me.
!!! It is important that you do not preview the questions and assign specific numbers to certain characters; the point of these questions is to put your characters into unexpected scenarios and interactions that might not be canon in your story universe(s). This is to ensure you are forced to think more broadly about the behaviour of your characters, to give you (the creator) a deeper understanding of them than what is apparent to others.

Well, this really doesn't work when you picked multiple characters from different universes.
Seriously, I ended up with a male evil necromancer sleeping with a male medusa and a completely unrelated superhero chick walks in on them.
How do they react? Probably with a "Wait, is this some kind of weird crossover fanfiction? How is that even possible, we don't exist as actual universes yet!"

Actually, I have found that it works quite well and does help expand your understanding of your characters. While true, it is easier with OCs from the same universe, crossovers are not impossible - the point is not to think so much of separate universes, but to focus on the characters themselves and how to develop them. If your immediate and sole thought is "They don't even exist in the same universe!", then your block your own creativity, and possibly you don't know your OCs well enough to write their believable responses. So, do try to ignore that "not same universe" dilemma, give it another try and focus on the personalities of your characters instead.

Well, yeah, but if it's a character interaction, and the characters are in no way connected or know each other, how even are they supposed to react with anything but shock or confusion?
Most of them are useful anyways, because even if it doesn't work, you need to understand why it doesn't work.

Even if the main response might be shock or confusion, people portray this differently, and so should OCs do. Try go a little deeper than, "Oh! Surprise, who are you and what are you doing?!" - perhaps retreating in fear, surprised aggression, a silly giggle, etc. Instinct-triggered reactions can tell you a lot about others, and in this case help better understand your characters.
