The previous version, not that much different. [link]I can just smell the bad karma coming for me for this one. I swear this'll be the last time I ever do this. Maybe.
First off, I only considered characters that originated from a video game.
Second, I considered primarily the Nintendo-owned games.
Third, I considered only those that ever even touched a darn Nintendo console.
So that means no Master Chief (Arbiter's cooler anyway cuz he's Keith David), no Cloud Strife (his summon in KH: CoM really doesn't count), no Goku, no Batman, no Mickey Mouse, no Bugs Bunny, no Dick Cheney (Final Smash "I thought you were a quail!"), no Pedobear, no Simon Cowell, no Mythbusters, no Jesus Christ, no Homer Simpson, no James Bond, no Yoko Ono, no Herman Li, no John Wilkes Booth, you get the point.
Smash Bros is more like a celebration of Nintendo and all of the best buds in the world of the gaming industry rather than a screaming fight over who should be in and who shouldn't. It's like when you take all of your Transformers toys from every series like the 1980s, Beast Wars, Armada, and Michael Bay's films and have them hold a friendly neighborhood get-together... and invite Voltron, Megazord, and Gundam.
If you've got a comment, I'd be happy to read it, whether it be nice, mean, flamy, or otherwise. If you've got ideas for a character, you can discuss it and I'll try to respond promptly so we can chat like civilized folk. I appreciate all comments, favorites, and constructive criticism.

With the smash ballot out, I am hoping to get daisy. However, i highly doubt we will get Daisy anything in a DLC pack if we only ask for a playable character. While i would prefer her as her own character, i wouldnt mind if she became a peach alt. I dont mean like she is now, with peach having her clothes, I mean Koopaling Little Mac style, Daisy's face, hair, clothes and even voice. Its possible too, as i emailed nintendo to ask if alts are allowed in the ballot, which they confirmed you can vote for anything character related, new or existing. (so that means you can also request for other things like masked dedede if you like!) Hopefully if we cant have her as a playable character of her own, Daisy fans will be able to get to play as HER, with peach's moveset. Thank You

Sora's Final Smash could probably be Ragnarok, including the aerial combo. The aerial combo has high knockback. Pressing the Attack button after the aerial combo will fire projectiles that home in the opponent(s) and deal a some damage. If Attack is pressed right when you hear a small sound, it'll fire the most projectiles and deal heavier damage.
In Kingdom Hearts, Ragnarok is a Special Ability. When close to an airborne enemy, selecting the Ragnarok command will cause SoraΒ to automatically jump up to the enemy and deliver an aerial attack combo, after which he will hover while charging energy. Unlike Sonic BladeΒ or Ars ArcanumΒ it requires no timing to execute the finisher, Impact; however, the longer Sora charges before using Impact, the more projectiles are fired and the heavier the damage, with the optimal time being immediately after the Keyblade releases a circular burst of light. The projectiles home in on enemies after being fired, while Sora can move freely. Waiting too long to use Impact causes the energy to dissipate without releasing the projectiles. It costs 4 AP to equip and 3Β MP to use. Sora is invincible during the initial weapon combo, but when Sora is charging the projectiles, he is left vulnerable to damage.

Love the addition of Ammy, WoL, Simon Belmont, Tom Nook, and Mask Link. I would add Frog from Chrono Trigger and Raichu (or at least a Raichu skin for Pikachu).
I really haven't seen any newcomers that I'm truly excited for. Would absolutely adore playing with Ammy.

I can see your description saying no TV or movie characters allowed in Super Smash Bros. It sure really is impossible for Master Chief to be in Super Smash Bros. because the Halo franchise doesn't have a game released on a Nintendo console.
And as for Cloud Strife, even though he has appeared in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, it is impossible for him and any of our favorite Final Fantasy VII characters to be in Super Smash Bros. I see?

I don't fancy Nintendo characters much, but I think I have a few sugestions.
*The characters need to have a moveset to be in the game. I don't think Starfy or Pacman has any chance to be in the game.
*Popularity is the main issue. The characters need to be well known. Characters like Sonic, Mario, Link, Megaman, Ryu, Shadow, ... have higher chance to be in the roster.
*It is also important to have characters with different playstyles. As such, putting copy characters isn't a good idea. I think only one Link and one Mario is enough. It might not have to be just incarnations of one characters. DK-Diddy Kong is acceptable, but they should change Ganon's moveset if they are planning to put him in the game.
(As a non-fan of Nintendo, I think Toad is fitting to be in the roster.)

Actually Pacman offers a LOT of possibilities, he has been in numerous games and a new one is even coming up. Think Pacman 2 the new adventures on SNES (Hello! Pacman in JP) so many possibilities besides teh obvious ones.

What he could do in those games stayed pretty much the same. He still lacks the moveset. Even if he was in the roster, Pac-man's characteristics would be destroyed. I think he is better off as assist trophy.

Because ROB was made out of all his original moves? His entire move set was logical and did not destroy what he originally was? What about Wolf? Captain Falcon? Gannondorf even! Pacman can eat, fly with his cape, get a slingshot and many many more OFFICIAL characteristics that have defined him through many games. Unlike any of those characters.

I guess you misunderstood me. Ganon's moveset should be changed, not be removed as a character. You know, copying Capt. Falcon wasn't the best idea. And Capt. Falcon must be in the roster, he is a unique character.
Falco passes the line but Wolf? Well, he should be removed entirely, he wasn't even in the storyline, just saying.
Well, R.O.B. had a moveset fitting to him 'cause he is a machine. He felt like a machine. The main objective of a Pacman game is supossed to be eating all the food in a labyrinth before ghosts eat you. A power-up could allow him to eat the ghosts. That was it. And now, Pacman got "that" crap. "Those games" already destroyed his characteristics by giving random stuff like glider, Mokujin-rider or slingshot. There is no denying that.

All in all, while Pacman's inclusion is not 0%, some characters deserve to be in the roster more than him.

He might be a machine but none of his moves made any sense beside two of his special attacks. Like I said, pacman appeared in MANY games with different gameplay etc... Saying pacman should eat is like saying all Mario should do is jump. Taking Pacman 2 the new adventures on SNES alone provides for a great move set, that game had nothing to do with the original. Like I said, Pacman was in a lot of different games allowing for enough variation in his move set.
I mentioned all of those characters because NONE had a move set befitting the character or taken from any game, they were all made up. They could have don,e a lot with Gannondorf but chose to make him a lame clone.
'Unlike those' was refering to pacman being able to have a legitimate good and faithful move set that would make sense and came straight from all his games. The other characters I mentioned had nothing of the sorts.

THIRD PARTY OVERLOAD! I must say, Super Smash Bros. is about Nintendo characters fighting together, with a small amount of characters from not from Nintendojoing into fight, but still maintaining the Nintendo aura. But must I even say that your types of fans are going overboard and wanting 400 third party characters you ant to see and very little Nintendo characters. You people obviously do not understand the meaning of the game.

I have a lot to say about this.
1. Smash bros seriously needs more girls.
2. I agree with adding Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Blaze, Ryu, Chun Li, Megaman, Daisy, Roy, Mewtwo, Zoroark, Lyn, Ameratsu, May, Wolf Link, Krystal, and Deoxys
3. What on earth would Tom Nook and Phoenix Wright do? (No offense or anything, but they don't fight at all)
4. I would also add Midna herself, Ken from Street Fighter, Sakura from Capcom, Amy Rose

3. For first - go watch Phoenix Wright in Capcom vs. Marvel 3 or his apereance in Super Smash Bros Crusade - That's how he will fight.
For Second - go watch this: [link] keep in mind also min. Princess Zelda or Peach didn't do anything in them games to make normally apeo in SSBM but overall thank God for putting them in.
4. Street Fighter? Not bad Idea...but in all characters here min. Ken or Chun-Li have lowest chance to be in - it's Nintendo rules...and like I'm sad before... I like Sonic characters (Sonic characters not Sonic itself, he's just too kidy) but it will never gonna happen

there are some people i've always wanted in super smash, including keroro gunso, sonic, waddle dee, and a few others~ but brawl came out and they added sonic ^^ then i wanted knuckles and tails~
and you covered both of them!
waddle dee might be too simple for the game, especially since he's one of dedede's attacks~
after reading your rules, i know that keroro gunso has never touched a nintendo console
However. one character. that fits your requirements. and has touched a nintendo console. who i feel is long forgotten. is. Goemon. (yeah, i know i added way to many .'s XD) He touched the N64 twice, but he wasn't as popular as designers hoped, so he was discontinued in america. his latest game came out 2011 in japan, but his last game in america was 1990 something...
There is a story of a famous thief in japan, named goemon, which is who he's named after~
his partners were Sasuke, Yae, and Ebisumaru~ i dunno even know if you remember him, but i feel he should definitely be added. ^^
(honeslty, i think all four should be added, because they're all so unique, and they actually do fight things, and the have "famous" attacks and whatnot >w< [link]
