Personality: Fyrian is a vain and self-absorbed hippogryph. He is relatively narrow-minded and dim-witted, with a tendency to consider only his own needs and perspective. This attitude can quite easily come across as rude, but that is rarely his intent. Fyrian also has a tendency to jump to conclusions--sometimes incredibly illogical ones--and to assume others' opinions align with his own. His combination of frivolous and feisty tends to get him into a lot of tricky situations. What he lacks in brains, Fyrian more than makes up for in beauty and grace. Fyrian is incredibly agile, quick on his feet, and endowed with scything antlers and sharp spurs. Brave (or perhaps merely possessed of an inflated sense of his own prowess), Fyrian is always willing to defend his friends and fellow herd members from danger.

As a very young chick, Fyrian is gangly, awkward, and far less self-assured. He likes to explore and visit with other herds. He begins to develop his adult personality as his first iridescent feathers grow in, while he is still a juvenile.

During the season of Lekkrut, adult Fyrian flirts and displays constantly. He is attracted to just about any other ornately-feathered hippogryph, male or female, and loves to strut his stuff. However, he will respond viciously to any challengers he perceives as trying to steal his display ground.
