I landed in a stream-carved ravine below, hoping the rushing water would muffle my sobs. “If only I could stay in the past- with everyone, forever.” I choked out, clutching my sides and digging in my talons.
Suddenly, the world started spinning around me, the suns becoming streaks of light along with the stars that cycled through. I shut my watery eyes tightly; this part always made me dizzy. I felt the earth change underneath me, pebbles fall away and grass grow in. I knew the mountains would fall away and rearrange, melding into the foreign landscape of Specus.
