Before we begin, I don't want to hear anything about 'this doesn't belong in horror & macabre.' You listen to me, mister, I don't like the regular portrait and figure section because my stuff looks SO out of place there... because it's dark, and contrasty, and conceptual... and yeah. Just yeah. So yeah!
...now then...
La Renaissance de Trois: French for 'the rebirth of three.' Three standing for the trinity (past, present, future... mind, body, soul). Rebirth is represented by the Oriental Lily (which there is three of for the trinity), which is representative of purity and a new beginning in Chinese culture. Culturally, the symbol of the triad can be understood as a key to the integrity and interdependence of all existence. But then again, I suppose it all depends on what you believe.
Representative of me and what's happening as of late? Eerily, yes. A new beginning. A fresh start. A bright future while living in the present, and never forgetting the past and all the good that was brought with it.
...and a silent thank you to someone in particular. Thank you.
