Description
My first attempt at a panorama using CS5. And the subjects are also quite interesting. The two main diesel locos seen here are both Class 57s. Rebuilt from Class 47s which were (and in one case, still is) part of the Virgin Trains fleet, both were employed on thunderbird and drag duties, mostly during the time when the WCML was seeing the biggest upgrade of it's life to accommodate high speed tilting trains. One still is so, the left hand example being 57308, however after the completion of the engineering work, the thunderbird fleet Virgin had was deemed too large, and four locos found their way to Arriva Trains Wales. Now however, DRS has also got at least one, 57309 sporting a spick and span DRS Compass livery is seen to the right, as if eyeing up her sister loco.
To the right of 57309 is Class 56 number 56312, wearing a promotional livery for Railfest 2012. And the steamer in the middle? Meh, who cares about that? Oh yeah, every wizard and witch in the world possibly.

Stand in one place and rotate round each of the chosen subjects, take the first shot then move round until the edge of the frame is roughly where the opposite edge of the frame was in the last capture, then take another frame, and repeat until you've covered the entire scene you want to capture. Then download them all and stitch them together with some capable photo editing software, like Photoshop.
Hope this helps.
