AHAHAHA HERE'S MEL'S INFO:

Name: Mel Bellamy
Age: 13 years
Gender: Female
Place of Origin: Verdanturf, Hoenn

Mel is the youngest child of two musicians, with a nosey older brother and a helluva lot of cousins, all of whom love to play... you guessed it, music. So of course Mel would feel the same as her family did about music, and actually has an instrument (acoustic guitar) of her own that she would play daily when she was back home. As a result, she's actually quite good at playing it. So good, in fact, that she had actually auditioned for a music company and had been on the top of their list. Sadly, when asked if she had any vocal talents (since she refused to be anything but a solo artist), she said she had none, and had to be sent away. Angered and insulted, Mel vowed she'd just start her own music company and produce her own music without any problem.

Only, there is a problem. She doesn't have the money needed to even think about starting such a company. So, at twelve years of age, she decided that the quickest way to get money would to become a pokémon trainer, and ventured into the Rusturf Tunnel with only a Greatball to catch herself her favorite pokémon, a Whismur. While some (most) people found the cries of a Whismur terribly annoying, Mel had found it adorable for some reason, despite the fact that its shrieks can "...equal a jet plane in volume."
And thus Mel caught her first pokémon, Tempo, and started her journey as a pokémon trainer. Of course, she seemed to forgotten the costs of buying potions and such...

One year, five more pokémon, and a slightly emptier pocket later, Mel stumbles across a... boy? in Kanto leaving a low-level gym with a large grin.

That boy(?) annoyed her with his annoying stupid grin. He annoyed her so. freaking. MUCH. So she decided that she'd wipe that grin off of his face by battling him.
With one condition.
Whoever lost would have to serve the winner for as long as the winner wished. It was quite the gamble, putting her freedom on the line like that, but Mel's a confident girl.

So she challenged the boy to a battle, and soundly trounced that Ekans he had sent out with Tempo, her beloved Loudred, in a one-on-one battle.
And thus Mel met Oliver[link] and made him her slave. She doesn't seem to show signs of considering to set him free as of yet.

EXTRA NOTES:
- Mel thinks she's the most awesome person in the world, and will sometimes go through great lengths to PROVE IT
- If you annoy Mel, chances are you'll annoy her for life
- Once you get on her "You are dumb" list, expect to be mocked
- Mel doesn't hide the fact that her favorite pokémon in Tempo, though Soprano does come in at a close second
- If you have ANYTHING to do with music Mel wants to be your friend
- However if she deems you as BETTER, you're going DOWN
- Mel DOES have a nice side. It's just that you either need to be someone she's just met, a friend, or a musician
- Mel doesn't consider rap to be music, and thus hates it for filling peoples' minds with LIES THAT HAVE BEATS
- Mel never bothered to fight gym leaders. She's too good for that.
- You don't have to do much to get Mel to dislike you, same goes for getting her to like you. It just depends on who you are and what you do
- The two things she dislikes more than rap and Oliver are being called a Verdanturd by other Hoennites and those darn Aroma Ladies... for some reason.
- All of her pokémon are male, to avoid accidental breeding
- Mel has sectoral heterochromia in her right eye, so she has a barely noticable light blue patch.
- Slightly taller than Oliver

Nature: Brave

Mel's favorite pokémon. As stated somewhere above Tempo was caught in the Rusturf Tunnel as an itty bitty Whismur that cried quite a bit. Cried a lot, actually. Any loud noise would set off his wailing, even if it was Mel just celebrating a victory. Despite the fact that Mel did believe the crying was cute, it was getting extremely annoying, so she started plugging his ear canals whenever it started crying, effectively stopping his crying... and breathing. After awhile Tempo toughened up and soon evolved after a battle against one of the many dreaded Aroma Ladies in the area. Mel was ecstatic, since the evolved Tempo was not only the most epic thing she'd ever seen, but also tougher, braver, and no longer a crybaby. To celebrate this, she gave him a bandanna, since it made him look tough.
If you could some up Tempo in a two words, they would be AWESOME and COOL. He seems to take everything in stride, and won't have a problem if you decide to ride on his back. That is, if you get along well with Mel. If you don't... well good luck. There's nothing Tempo loves more than to just bite Soprano's tail, if only to have the ball of fur at the end in his large mouth. Soprano doesn't like this one bit. Also, Tenor's this Loudred's best bud. They like to go off EXPLORIN' together sometimes.

Soprano was Mel's second and most easily caught pokémon. She had simply been wading through the grass when she stumbled upon him, almost literally. He was just snoozing on a patch of moss near the pond, and he looked just too... cute. Mel had to catch him. And she did.
She found out later that, aside from being adorable, Soprano was surprisingly good when it came to battles.
This little Marill loves nothing more than to be carried around and being hugged. He's like a cat, only he doesn't bite you randomly. However, if you touch or pull his tail, THAT'S when he gets all Hydro Pump on yo' ass. Mel does nothing to stop this from ever happening, and will actually laughing at the poor fool who is on the receiving end. Unless, of course, that poor fool is Tempo. Then she's all ">:C" because he should know better. Soprano really doesn't like Tempo, but after the anfiojpgnehvbofdvbfdgiobillionth time, he gave up on Hydro Pumping that chump.

Alto is the paranoid one of the team, constantly on the lookout for danger. He always thinks that one of these days, ONE OF THESE DAYS, Tempo and Tenor are gonna snap and EAT THEM ALL. This is why, whenever they travel, Alto sits on Tempo's head. This way, Tempo can't trap him in his jaws and Tenor wouldn't dare attack him when he's atop his buddy's head. And this is the exact reason Mel traded her Volbeat (who she never really liked anyways) for him. She loves to tease little Alto on his paranoia, and will often just send Tempo screaming after Alto, sending the pokémon off like a bullet. Mel really does love Alto, though, and will brush his fur every night as a way to compensate for frightening him so much.
MOVESET: Defense Curl, Thunderbolt, Dynamic punch, Assist

Name: Tenor
Gender: Male
Species: Fearow
Ability: Keen Eye
Nature: Bold
Item: Sharp Beak
Tenor was yet another pokémon obtained in a trade, but unlike Alto, this bird AIN'T AFRAID OF NOTHING. And he also has a pretty cool black streak that comes from around his eye. BUT HE MOSTLY AIN'T AFRAID OF NOTHING.
Mel thinks Tenor is a pretty awesome way of traveling, since he can easily hold her and three other small pokémon, or just Tempo when they want to go EXPLORIN' YEAH.
Tenor hates to be in his pokéball and will often EXPLODE out of it when he actually is confined in it. Sometimes when he does this it's at the worst possible moment.
Tenor is a really curious bird, but like all Fearow he can have a really nasty temper. Sometimes when he goes on his warpaths... pokémon get eaten.
When he's not needed, Tenor can be found flying high in the skies~
MOVESET: Fly, Tri Attack, Mudslap, Agility

Name: Chorus
Gender: Male
Species: Chatot
Ability: Tangled Feet
Nature: Naughty
Item: Metronome
Mel's most humorous pokémon, easily able to make her laugh by screaming "FAT ASS" at its opponents when using Chatter. It'd say other words... if it was taught any others, but Mel likes its choice words just fine.
Funny thing is... Chorus knows EXACTLY what he's saying, and loves to anger people by insulting them. He can be quite the annoying little thing to those whose pokémon are facing off against it, since he repeatedly used Chatter.
Mel likes to send Chorus up against large opponents, saying that she doesn't NEED a big pokémon to win.
Chorus was caught when he was found among a flock of Swablu, somehow managing to fly from SINNOH ALL THE WAY TO HOENN. Having never seen such a pokémon, Mel HAD to catch him. Upon doing so, Mel was marked as one of the few Hoennites that have a Chatot.
No one really cares though.
Chorus doesn't get along well with Tune.

Ability: Cute Charm
Nature: Serious

Tune is the quiet one in the group. This is mostly because he is embarrassed of being a Wigglytuff and doesn't like the sound of his voice. Mel, however, loves his voice, which is why she forced him to keep keep Sing.
Tune hates Sing. Very much so.
He generally tries to distance himself from the rest of the group, though he can be found following Mel like a puppy when it's just the two of them. He is very fond of his trainer, since she doesn't judge him for being such a girly-looking pokémon.he's also fond of Oliver, since they are kindred spirits. Oliver doesn't really like any of Mel's pokémon, though.
MOVESET: Sing, Disable, Mega Punch, Ice Punch
