Sadly the United States doesn't trust Japan with its advanced technology as it there is a tendency for what ever is given to the Japanese ends up the next series of Chinese Fighters.Β The United States Congress fought for years not to give the Japanese the F-16 with full avionics package.Β So Japan opted instead to license build parts of the Fighting Falcon but build it with local manufacturers.
