You can't name a photograph, "Freedom", without owning the pretense of it. But pretense is the native country of old men, like me, who have heard the word misused for a lifetime. I would have "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" sum it up for us, as this child so aptly has. Beyond that, let the politics of the word fall prey to lesser gods, be they Republican or Democrat. Model: Avery.
