Multiple things with this particular image, for one this is my example image for a £50 commission, I’ll be hopefully posting a real commission sheet up later in the week.
But this was also me trying something different, I wanted to really work with something that I’ve not really done before as well as drawing pictures for my characters. I’d like to also thank MisterCrowbar for help on the lighting and some colours, she probably hates me a bit at this point haha.
Also, just a quick note the metal plaques has a real person on it, the name, if you can’t read too clearly, is Big Gard, which is the nick name of my Great Granddad, who died in 1991 a year before I was born. I never met him obviously, but I always heard wonderful stories about him, so a small tribute of sorts.
