honestly i've been seeing so many images with the blue/orange colour schemes lately and have just been so enamoured by them. like they're so pretty?? the final piece didn't turn out exactly like what i had in mind (i have a tendency to overexpose...stuff ;v
, but i'm still pleased with the final product~(also i'll be making a journal opening limited commission slots in the next day or so, please keep an eye out for that if you're interested!)

I adore the whole composition, the way the image works at an angle, which makes it much more...alive^^
and the complementary contrast of orange and blue...nice work! of course the wolf's pose and his whole fur are stunning as well <3
the way the birds are lightened up, aaaah *-*
there is just so much I love about this, and it really inspired me. I can only hope to reach this level of painting skill ;* ♥

the colors in this are just GOOOORGEOUS omg!!!! all of your art is just so vibrant and colorful and I love all of it so much!!!!! I LOVE the peachy oranges with those dark blues and purples and how they all pull up into the sky like that!!! THE WOLF IS JUST SO NICE TOO!!! The fur detail is super gorgeous too. your ability to render textures is SO freaking good I am totally amazed. I'd loooooove to be able to commission you sometime omg your art is just so freaking good!! Keep up the good work!!!

Okay, lemme point out that I too have been so enamored by the blue/orange color scheme and I absolutely LOVE how you made it fit as well with the background on the mountains and the sky... I also love how you can see the contrasts with the birds and the stars from the sky because it looks like it has been truly taken like a photo picture. Also, per usual, I gotta mention the sparkles- I LOVE the sparkles. Plus i adore the clouds, and of course the mountain top too.
Lemme just point out though... This is really important too... But I really love how you draw the snow. As an artist myself, I find it so darn difficult to draw out the snow... But you made it so life like that I can just pick it up with my bare hand and just feel how cold it is. OH! One more thing... I love the moon too. I love how you drew it out, especially as an eclipse too. It's so beautiful and breathtaking... It's one of my favorite parts in the picture besides the snow, the glow around the lovely character, and the mountains in the background. (Also gotta add that love for the title... I feel like it speaks so loud for the picture >w
Overall, you did another amazing job on this piece and this also truly shows that you put your mind through anything when it comes to creative freedom... Amazing job as always Jax!

SNOW. good pure snow o3o haha i really enjoyed painting it myself~ it's oddly satisfying putting in the sharp dark shadows to indicate the various contours and what not? i think snow is just one of those things that's a lot easier to paint as opposed to lineart and colour? like it's a lot faster just to blot in randoms white blobs then trying to draw outlines of... blobs /SHOT
