This probably took... Fifty-ish minutes to create? I expected it to take much longer, to be honest.I've been wanting to do this for actual months (well, technically I have done this before--years ago--but not with Clockwork) and finally today just kind of... Did it. For the fun of it. And boy, it is fun to paint happy Clockworks. :'D
I really ought to paint him more often--especially into photos like this.
This actually reminds me of when I was a kid, and I would pretend that my characters were everywhere with me. There was a point in time (probably around the 2nd grade) that I treated my stuffed animals like they were so real, that they ended up becoming my imaginary friends that came everywhere with me, because I couldn't bring the physical toy with me to most places. As a kid, I legitimately felt (and kind of thought) that my stuffed animals had feelings.Β I'm pretty sure the first story I ever wrote was about them coming to life, and us going on adventures around the house. I think that was the same point in my childhood when I didn't really have any friends, so that probably explains some of those old stories.
Now I just paint Clockwork into photographs. x'D
Also, I kind of think that 'Smile Like You Mean It' by Tally Hall is a nice song for him. It makes me happy every time it plays.

I did that, too, only I was in kindergarten-first grade. Second grade, it was my human OCs who started being my imaginary friends. I didn't want to ever give away or throw out my stuffed animals because they were real, and I literally had nightmares where they were dismembered...

I used to feel really bad about putting my soft toys in the box when I was using a different one. I used to say to them " Don't worry, you'll have another turn out of the box but it's bear's turn now okay? "
